A force of nature on stage, Kalliyanei is a 15-year-old rising star blending the soulful essence of R&B with the electrifying energy of performance art. Kalliyanei captivates audiences with her undeniable talent and stage presence. Born in Toronto, Ontario, into a lineage of musicians dating back to the 1960s, Kalliyanei was destined for the stage. From the moment she could walk, music became her heartbeat, leading her to countless performances with her schools, community, fundraisers, and talent showcases.
Her talent and dedication have taken her to notable stages, including performing the national anthem at the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Charity Game. Seeking to master her craft, she immersed herself in her Jamaican roots, attending Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, where she further developed her dance techniques and performance skills while working with international teachers and choreographers from the National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica.
Influenced by legends like Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, Ciara, and Rihanna. Kalliyanei embodies a passion for storytelling through music and movement. A true triple threat—singer, dancer, musician—she radiates charisma and confidence and an undeniable stage presence that captivates every audience.
Currently, Kalliyanei is deep in the creative process, writing and recording songs for her debut EP, a project that will launch alongside her heartfelt anti-bullying campaign aimed at protecting vulnerable teens. Her music is not just about sound—it’s about empowerment, justice, and spreading positivity.
Although she has yet to embrace social media fully, her dedication to excellence and authenticity sets her apart. With a voice beyond her years, a drive unmatched by her peers, and an aura that lights up every room, Kalliyanei is on a mission to inspire the world through music, dance, and advocacy.
